Made in France
In 2019, designer Phuc VO VAN, grandson of Luu Van Hi, dressmaker to the King of Laos, decided to use the name of his grandfather's fashion house to name his brand. Le Trapèze was born,
or rather reborn, as a tribute.
Le Trapèze is a luxury leather goods and accessories designed and handcratfed in France.
From Brand to Product.
Art Direction
Since the 1950s, Le Trapèze has created the wardrobe of Laotian royalty, designing their suits. In 2019, the company is reinventing itself by creating high-end leather goods and accessories in a more sustainable development process.
Le Trapèze is obviously keen to retain its Asian origins for the brand's revival, borrowing from Asian style for its clean lines and elegant, minimalist style.
Le Trapèze: The Elegance of Simplicity
For Le Trapèze, a Parisian leather goods brand inspired by Asian aesthetics, I designed a digital universe where simplicity becomes a form of luxury.
The website follows a minimalist and contemplative design, conceived as a quiet showcase that highlights the textures, materials, and pure lines of each product.
Every visual element evokes Japanese discipline and delicacy balanced compositions, controlled empty spaces, soft lighting, and a natural color palette.
The experience is fluid and serene, reflecting the brand’s philosophy an art of slow time, where every bag and accessory tells the story of precision, craftsmanship, and refined beauty.
Le Trapèze: Time Suspended
This photo series captures the essence of time standing still.
Le Trapèze bags are revealed without artifice, worn with natural elegance, in an atmosphere that feels both timeless and silent.
Each image explores the dialogue between material and movement, between the precision of lines and the softness of gestures.
The silhouettes melt into the light, leaving space for the purity of leather, the balance of shapes, and the subtlety of colors.
Through these refined compositions, Le Trapèze defines its world a form of discreet luxury, inspired by serenity and the mastery of craftsmanship, where beauty lives in simplicity.
